A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze, white metal and copper gau (prayer/amulet box), Qing dynasty, of rectangular form, the front finely cast and pierced with an eternal knot design cornered by four bats, the white metal sides with four suspension loops, the removable copper back revealing written prayers, length 13.4cm.
