A fine George III Chippendale period mahogany secrétaire bookcase cabinet, the broken arch pediment with carved and dentil moulded bands above a pair of astragal glazed doors, the base fitted with cast gilt bronze foliate handles and key escutcheons, the secrétaire drawer above three further drawers, raised on ogee bracket feet worked in relief with acanthus leaves and scrolls, height 239cm, width 117cm, depth 55cm.
