A mid-20th century taxidermy specimen of a roach, preserved by 'J. Cooper & Sons, 78 Bath Road, Hounslow' (Griggs), the stuffed fish set within sprigs of conifer, the bowfront glazed case inscribed in gilt 'Roach 2lbs 9ozs Caught by Mrs Purnell at Bickton, on Red Tag Fly 23rd July 1946', the interior bearing Cooper label, height 31.5cm, width 51cm.
