A mid-19th century needlework band sampler, dated 1850, worked with bands of letters and numbers above 'Whill School, 1850... Mathison, Aged 8', 42cm x 21cm, later framed, together with another sampler dated 1764 and three other Victorian samplers, one 'Presented to J. White as a token of respect on his Leaving the Brighton Mission... 1865', 25cm x 21cm.
