A rare Edwardian silver vesta box of rectangular form with rounded corners, the hinged lid decorated in relief with "His Master's Voice" above the HMV trademark of a terrier dog listening to a gramophone, the lid interior inscribed 'with the compliments of The Gramophone Co Ltd', Chester 1907 by Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd, length 4.6cm.
