A Shirvan rug, South-east Caucasus, late 19th/early 20th century, the midnight blue field with three linked compartments enclosing hooked medallions, surrounded by a band of polychrome flowerheads, within an ivory and polychrome stylized leaf border, 158cm x 121cm.
