First edition, presentation signature by the author on the front free endpaper, 8vo (163 x 100mm.) 9 plates, mostly with tissue-guards. Original morocco-backed cloth, gilt titles to spine, g.e. (some loss to top of spine). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection.
