YOUNG, Arthur. A Tour in Ireland with General Observations on the Present State of that Kingdom. Dublin: printed for George Bonham, 1780. 2 vols., first edition, 8vo (210 x 126mm.) Engraved folding frontispiece of Powercourt waterfall in vol. 1, 6pp. appendix and 5pp. index to rear. (Some browning, small creases, finger-marks.) Original calf (rebacked with original morocco lettering pieces laid down, rubbed to extremities). - And five more volumes by Young (including 'Six Months Tour Through the North of England', second edition, 1771, 8vo). Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedowns); The West Horsley Place Collection (7).
