GRAVES, Robert. Claudius the God… and his wife Messalina. London: Arthur Barker, 1934. First edition, first printing, 8vo (216 x 134mm.) Two folding genealogical tables. (Occasional spotting to preliminaries and fore-edge.) Navy blue cloth, gilt titles to spine (mild spotting to spine), dust-jacket (chipping to top of spine, fading, a few marks to rear panel). Note: 10/6 price to the inner flap of the jacket. - And one more volume (Robert Graves' 'I, Claudius', fifth printing, 1934, 8vo). - Provenance: Robert Milnes- Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection (2).
