BINDINGS. - PATMORE, Coventry. The Unknown Eros and Other Odes… Odes I-XXXI. London: 1877. Privately printed in a limited edition, 8vo (177 x 127mm.) Tipped-in a.l.s from Patmore to Lord Houghton. (Moderate spotting.) Contemporary green morocco gilt, double fillet gilt borders with corner fleurons, gilt turn-ins, g.e. Note: The letter from Patmore reads 'My dear Lord Houghton, as you like typographical rarities allow me to offer you a volume of which as yet only six copies have been published…'. Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection.
