A Japanese silver wire inlaid cloisonné vase by Hayashi Kodenji, Meiji period, of shouldered tapering form, finely worked with a white cockatoo perched upon a berry branch above flowers and grasses, on a dark blue ground, with applied silver rim and baseplate, inlaid mark to base, height 25cm.
