A Japanese silver and Shibayama inlaid ivory rectangular tray, Meiji period, the ivory central panel finely inlaid in mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell and hardstones with a duck swimming through iris and lotus towards two fish, the silver filigree rim pierced with flowerheads and foliate scrolls, on bracket feet, unmarked, length 21.6cm (some faults to silver underside).
