A Japanese ivory small okimono carving, Meiji period, modelled as a seated scholar and boy attendant, inset mother-of-pearl signature plaque to base, length 4.7cm (chip to corner of base), together with a Japanese carved ivory netsuke, Meiji period, modelled as a man seated, sawing a giant gourd in half, unsigned, height 3.6cm.
