LOT 2005
A pair of mid-Victorian burr walnut pier cabinets with ebony banding, each frieze inset with green dip jasperware panels and with gilt brass mounts, each inverted breakfront with glazed panel door flanked by arched canopies, supported by ebonized and stop fluted columns with Corinthian capitals and acanthus leaf balusters, on bun feet, height 100.5cm, width 92cm, depth 40.5cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
