A Japanese Satsuma earthenware two-handled jar and cover by Ryuzan, Meiji period, of ribbed ovoid form, covered in finely painted and gilt dense flowers on a green foliage ground, gilt Shimazu mon above fan shaped signature panel and flowers to base, height 11.3cm (one handle repaired).
