A Chinese Canton export lacquer folding fan, late 19th century, the guards and eighteen sticks decorated with gilt birds, fish and flowers on a black ground, the paper panel painted with birds and blossoming branches, length 29.8cm, with a lacquer case, the hinged lid with gilt figural decoration, together with a Canton carved sandalwood and feather fan, length 30cm, a Canton ivory brisé fan, length 21.8cm, and a French ivory folding fan, length 28cm (some faults).
