Margaret Lovell - Petal II, a late 20th century green patinated cast bronze abstract model of a stylized petal with overall textured surface, circa 1971, unsigned, raised on a stepped slate base and a slate mounted pedestal, height 184cm. Note: Margaret Lovell is an award-winning sculptor and a Fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. She trained at the Slade School of Fine Art in London and the Academy of Fine Art in Florence and has since carried out numerous commissions and exhibited across the UK, Europe and the USA.
