FORSHAW, Joseph M., and William T. COOPER. Kingfishers and Related Birds. Melbourne: Lansdowne Editions, 1983-1994. 6 vols., Limited Collector's edition, this number 990 of 1000 copies signed by J.M. Forshaw and W.T. Cooper to each volume, folio (504 mm x 343mm.) Colour plates throughout with tissue-guards. Vari-coloured levant morocco boards decorated in gilt and blind with grey morocco lettering pieces to the spines. Contained within three cloth clamshell cases with morocco lettering pieces to the spines and upper panels (some spotting inside and to the spine of the case of 2 vols.). Note: this set comprises Volumes 1 and 2: 'Alcedinidae'. Volume 3 and 4: 'Todidae to Phoeniculidae'. Volume 5 and 6: 'Bucerotidae' (6).
