Dent & Co., 1891. 7 vols. only (of 10), limited large paper edition, this number 100 of 100, 8vo (200 x 123mm.) 6 engraved frontispieces, titles in red and black. (Mild toning.) Contemporary half-morocco, bound by Tout, the spine with five raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, t.e.g. (rubbing to extremities). Note: the seven volumes are 'Crotchet Castle', 'Headlong Hall', 'Nightmare Abbey', 'The Misfortunes of Elphin', 'Gryll Grange' 2 vols., and 'Maid Marian'. Provenance: Henry William Poor, (bookplates to the front pastedowns) (7).
