MAPS. - Sidney HALL. A Travelling Atlas of the English Counties… with all the Railroads Accurately Laid Down and the Boundaries Coloured. London: Chapman & Hall, [n.d. but circa 1872.] Small folio (210 x 131mm.) 46 maps hand-coloured in outline (42 double-page, 4 folding of Wales, Yorkshire, Ireland and Scotland.) (Map of 'England' torn along fold and half now loosely inserted, spotting to title page, a few small tears along the folds.) Original black morocco boards (rebacked in calf, rubbing to all extremities). Note: the plates are all numbered in this edition and numbered outside the frame of the map.
