BINDINGS. - A.A. MILNE. [The Christopher Robin Books.] London: Methuen & Co., Ltd., 1929-1930. 4 vols., mixed editions, 8vo (182 x 118mm.) Illustrations by E.H. Shepard. (Mild browning to preliminaries.) Contemporary calf, monogram in gilt of A.A. Milne to the upper covers, gilt figures from the books to the spines, g.e. (slight fading to spines, some rubbing to edges). Note: this set of four books comprises: 'When We Were Very Young', 'Winnie-the-Pooh', 'Now We Are Six' and 'The House at Pooh Corner'. Provenance: G. Newberry (name in ink to the front-free endpaper of 'Now We Are Six' and 'When We Were Very Young') (4).
