DICKENS, Charles. Bleak House. London: Bradbury and Evans, 1853. First edition, 20 parts in 19, 8vo (225 x 134mm.) Frontispiece, additional engraved title, and 29 engraved plates only by H. K. Browne (of 38), numerous advertisement leaves with some on coloured paper.(Some spotting and browning, heavier to plates as usual.) Original blue pictorial wrappers (all have some chipping, some spine loss, small creases, part 10 is missing its blue upper wrapper, 12 and 18 are missing their lower wrappers, all other wrappers are present but detached except for parts 8, 9, 11, 15 and 16 which are intact. Parts 4-7 have loose pages, as do parts 10, 12-14, 17, 19 [and 20]), housed in a grey card case.
