First edition, 8vo (194 x 114mm.) 11 engraved plates, (6 folding, including a map of 'Roma Antiqua'), errata leaf to rear. (Some spotting to preliminaries and to index, name inscribed to front pastedown.) Early 19th century panelled calf, five raised bands to spine (rubbed to all extremities, slight loss to spine ends).
