[Official History of the War.] London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1920-1931. 8 vols. only (of 9, lacking map vol. for vol. 4), first editions, 8vo (217 x 137mm.) Numerous folding maps and illustrations. (Spotting to preliminaries.) Original cloth (damp-affected to most boards, titles faded to spines of volumes 1-3 and vol. 5, bumped to extremities). - And five more duplicate volumes from the same series. Provenance: Naval History Library (withdrawn label to the front pastedown of volume 1, different names inscribed in ink to various volumes) (13).
