KING, James Wilson. The War-Ships of Europe. Portsmouth: Griffin and Co., 1878. First edition, 8vo (190 x 121mm.) 21 plates (2 folding). (Spotting to preliminaries.) Original pictorial cloth with HMS Téméraire in gilt to upper cover, blind-stamped design to lower cover (some sunning to spine and bumped to spine ends). Provenance: A Schwitz (purple stamp to the front-free endpaper). - And two more volumes on Naval equipment (including Lieutenant's G.E. Armstrong's 'Torpedoes and Torpedo Vessels', 1896, 8vo) (3).
