QUEEN VICTORIA. Leaves From the Journal of Our Life in the Highlands… from 1848 to 1861. London: Smith, Elder and Co., 1868. Signed and dedicated by Queen Victoria in ink in a presentation signature ('To the Hon: Mrs Ferguson, in recollection of Balmoral from Victoria R., Balmoral, Nov. 16. 1870'), 4to (305 x 235mm.) Frontispiece, numerous illustrations within text. (Some leaves loosening, minor soiling to preliminaries.) Original pictorial cloth blocked in gilt and black, g.e. (rubbing to all extremities, some surface wear to upper cover, and small areas of damp-staining to both covers. - And six more volumes relating to Queen Victoria (including Richard Holmes' 'Queen Victoria', 1897, 4to, with an extra suite of plates) (7).
