A Chinese export lacquer work box of shaped sarcophagus form, early 19th century, with gilt decoration on a black ground, the compartmentalized interior fitted with various Canton ivory accoutrements, including a tatting shuttle, pin cases, clamp and reels, length 36.5cm (some faults).
