A late 18th century French lacquered and piqué inlaid oval snuff box, the lid, sides and base decorated in coloured lacquer and inlaid gold with triumphant regalia, the lid inscribed 'Marcello Austriaco', the base 'Semper Honos Nomenque Tuum Laudesque Manebunt', width 9cm (some faults).
