A fine Victorian rosewood and brass inlaid vanity case, bearing an engraved royal crown and V.R. cypher, probably from the royal household, the interior lined in blue velvet and Morocco leather, fitted with a pair of button-release retractable trays above a pop-up lower level and revealing two concealed drawers, the brass bound edges all finely engraved with foliate scrolls, height 15.3cm, width 35cm (lacking all interior accoutrements).
