A George II silkwork sampler by Mary Freeman, Aged 10 Years, dated 1732, worked with a central verse flanked by polychrome chevron reserves, within bands of letters and numbers, flowering vines, birds, plants and other animals, 30cm x 23cm, later laid onto a canvas backing, within a black and gilt frame.
