A Rolex Oyster Perpetual steel cased gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1940s, the signed silvered dial with gilt Arabic numerals and arrow shaped hour markers, detailed 'Officially Certified Chronometer' and outer black Arabic seconds numerals, gilt hands and blued steel centre seconds, with a milled bubble-back screw case, numbered between the lugs '395696', the winding button detailed 'Rolex Oyster', case width 3.1cm.
