Richard L. Minns - Samson slaying the Lion, a 21st century brown patinated cast bronze figure group of Samson wrestling with a lion, raised on a naturalistic base bearing cast signature 'R. Minns', dated 2005 and bearing limited edition number '6/6', the revolving circular base inscribed to the edge 'Suddenly a young Lion came roaring towards Samson. The Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson in power so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. Judges 14:5', height 65cm, diameter of base 58cm.
