An Edwardian taxidermy specimen of a bream, the stuffed fish set within a glazed bowfront case, inscribed in gilt 'Bream Caught by W.J. Mackrell Junr. from the Hythe Canal, August 23rd, 1908, Wgt 4lbs 12ozs', the interior with 'J. Bolton Preserver' label, height 40cm, width 70cm.
