A George III needlework sampler by Elizabeth Brooks, dated 1817, the central verse surrounded by a church, country manor house, trees, figures, dogs and birds, within a flowering vine border, worked with coloured silks in various stitches, 49cm x 40cm, within a bird's eye maple frame.
