An early 19th century needlework sampler by Mary Jones, aged 12 years, indistinctly dated, the central verse titled 'Christ the best friend', within an oval surround, birds, plants and animals, within a stylized strawberry border, 31cm x 25cm, later framed, together with another early 19th century sampler, 33cm x 27cm, framed.
