TRIMMER, [Sarah.] A Description of a Set of Prints of Roman History. London: printed for Baldwin Cradock and Joy, et al, 1821. 2 vols. including plate volume, square 8vo (106 x 186mm.) 64 engraved plates, 4pp. publisher's advertisement to rear of text vol. (Plates XLI and XLII shaved with loss, minor light browning.) Contemporary russia (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed). Provenance: presentation inscription to front-free endpaper of vol. II. Note: the plate volume carries the alternate title 'A Series of Prints, designed to illustrate the Roman History'.
