[CHRYSOSTOM, John. Opera Graece]. Eton: [printed by M. Bradwood], 1610. Vol. 1 only (of 8), folio (357 x 219mm.) Woodcut initials. (Lacking title and frontispiece.) 18th century calf (rebacked in 19th century, minor rubbing). Note: scarce. The works of John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople, were one of the first books to be published by Eton College. Publishing details taken from colophon. Provenance: David Jones (name in ink to rear leaves). - And with three further volumes, two of them also related to the preaching of John Chrysostom ('Sancti Patris Ioannis Chrysostomi Archiepiscopi Constantinopolitani', vols. 2 & 3 only, 1621, folio) (4).
