GREENAWAY, Kate, and Walter CRANE (illustrators). The Quiver of Love - a Collection of Valentines Ancient and Modern. London: Marcus Ward & Co., 1876. First edition, 4to (219 x 165mm.) 8 chromolithographed plates with decorative and gilt borders. (Gift inscription in ink to half-title, browning to margins, one tissue-guard partially stuck to plate.) Original red cloth elaborately blocked in gilt to spine and upper cover, g.e. (rubbing to extremities, split cloth at top of spine). - And five more 19th century bindings (6).
