SIME, Sidney. Bogey Beasts. London: Goodwin & Tabb, [n.d. but 1923.] First edition, 8vo (271 x 216mm.) 15 illustrations by Sidney Sime accompanying his poems and a musical score for each by Josef Holbrooke. (Faint spotting to page margins.) Original pictorial boards (lightly bumped to spine ends), dust-jacket (a large, closed tear to upper panel, some loss to top of spine). Note: scarce. Sidney Sime's whimsical drawings of fantastical creatures have an element of science fiction, a sensibility he shared with Lord Dunsany, one of his main collaborators.
