Limited large paper edition, this being one of 100 copies, 4to (346 x 250mm.) 12 plates by Joseph Pennell, numerous illustrations. (Spotting to plate margins and verso of plates.) Original blue cloth, gilt vignettes of St. Pauls and Trafalgar Square to upper cover, g.e. (rubbing to extremities). - And thirteen more illustrated volumes relating to London (including 'Flowers of Cities, a Book of London', 1949, 8vo) (14).
