HUGGINS, W. Mullingar. The House Painter; or, the Decorator's Companion. London: Thomas Kelly, 1841. First edition, 4to (272 x 193mm.) 30 colour specimens to rear. (Two plates with tissue-guards attached, one plate with large tearing and attached to another plate, also with a tear, toning to margins.) Contemporary black half-morocco, the spines with six compartments, red morocco lettering pieces to the second compartments, extensive repeating gilt to the rest (rubbing to extremities, tape repair to inner hinge). - And three further volumes (including Leopoldo Cicognara's plate volume for 'Memorie Spettanti alla Storia della Calcografia', [n.d. but 1831], folio) (4).
