A set of six Victorian silver novelty cruets, each titled rectangular twin lidded box surmounted by a different detachable novelty pepper caster in the form of a character from R.S. Surtees's 'Jorrocks' novels, comprising 'Oh Hunting', 'The Sporting Lecture', two 'James Pigg', 'Thinks He Will Shoot Doleful' and 'The Old Customer', together with sets of six silver mustard and salt spoons, each with riding whip handle, London 1878 by Richards & Brown, heights of cruets from 13cm to 17.5cm.
