A Tibetan gilt-embellished white metal box, probably 19th century, the hinged lid applied with a gilt metal gem set panel, set with a design of turquoise and pastes on a filigree scroll ground, the sides embossed with standing figures and foliate scrolls and applied with gilt bat and winged deity motifs, length 15.7cm (some faults).
