A Japanese red lacquer four case inro, Meiji period, of curved rectangular form, carved in low relief with figures, rocks and banana plant against a pine ground, the top with ruyi head motif, unsigned, length 9.3cm (one section split and other minor faults), together with a red lacquer gourd bottle netsuke, carved with a landscape and flowers, length 5cm, and a rock crystal ojime.
