A pair of Japanese silk embroidered brocade rectangular panels, 19th century, decorated in orange, green, cream, brown and gilt threads with a repeated design of seaweed, shells and waves, black painted characters to reverse, 192cm x 41cm, together with a matching smaller panel, 43cm x 118.5cm, and a Japanese purple silk and gilt thread obi panel, decorated with a repeated design of dense chrysanthemums and tendrils, 68cm x 105.5cm.
