A Chinese blue and white double gourd shaped vase, late 19th century, painted with opposing panels of pheasants, rocks and peonies, reserved against a lotus and scrolling tendril ground, underglaze blue four character mark to base, height 23cm (minor rim restoration), together with a similar smaller double gourd vase, painted with lotus and leafy tendrils, height 14.5cm (minor rim chips).
