An early/mid-19th century penwork cased pocket thermometer, the hinged lid painted with a horse and rider on a chequered ground, the interior fitted with a thermometer, length 8.5cm, together with a 19th century penwork toothpick case, decorated with overall foliage, length 7.6cm.
