Contemporary half-calf (joints split, sections of spine lacking). Provenance: William Van Mildert (armorial book plate to front pastedown); J.J. Whitaker (signature to title-page). - And two other volumes (Thomas Cromwell's 'History and Description of the Ancient Town and Borough of Colchester', 2 vols., 8vo) (3).
