HERBAL. - Pierre POMET. A Compleat History of Druggs, Written in French by Monsieur Pomet. London: Printed for F. and F. Bonwicke, R. Wilkin, S. Birt, T. Ward and E. Wicksteed, 1737. 2 vols. in 1, third edition, 4to (225 x 174mm.) Title in red and black, 86 engraved plates (1 folding). (Plate 73 browned, occasional other minor staining or soiling, mostly to margins, very light crease to title-page.) Modern calf bound to style, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces in the second and fourth, the others tooled in blind (crease to front-free endpaper).
