First edition, 4to (254 x 192mm.) 14 plates after drawings by the author. (Toning, frontispiece loose, faint spotting to preliminaries.) Contemporary blind-stamped blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine (bumped to extremities). Provenance: Mary Lygon (name in ink to front pastedown). - And a related volume 'Details of Ancient Timber Houses of the 15th and 16th Centuries…', 1836, 4to) (2).
